BT Global Services is the corporate arm of the telecoms giant. They are responsible for servicing the multi-national giants across the UK and wider world, with all the telecoms needs. It is run as a separate company to the consumer arm of BT, so as a result needs a comprehensive ‘My Account’ area for their customers.
Developing the ‘My Account’ platform
While at Sapient Nitro I was tasked with developing the entire management system. This involved working closely with key senior stakeholders, and the development team to define the roadmap for delivery across the organisation.
The system holds a staggering amount of data for each customer that is often hard to digest easily. Therefore we created a dashboard of widgets that visualised their data in manageable and streamlined ways. These data widgets were optimised for mobile devices so customers could access critical information anywhere in the world.
